"Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who Abide in me and I abide in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing." John 15:5 |
Vwazinaj se Fanmi translates to the neighborhood is family. Our heart behind this movement is to provide a space for programs that encourage this Haitian Proverb.
EMPOWER THE FUTURE:Through empowerment we can build a better tomorrow. Abide in Love works alongside families through educational means to teach and equip the Haitians in our programs to be the change they wish to see in their nation.
ENCOURAGE A NATION:We seek to encourage positive change by supporting Haitian leadership who are equipped and have vision for their own people. We desire to partner with Haitians through discipleship and to prepare them to exhort their own nation.
INSPIRE THE INDIVIDUAL:We pursue positive change by fostering rich relationships with the people we encounter daily. We work tirelessly to show them their worth in Jesus and to inspire them to be exactly who they were created to be.
IMPACT IN LOVE:Abide in Love believes that any impact made needs to be in Love. We strive to facilitate an impact at local levels through equipping Haitians to rise above the effects of poverty and to have them lead others in the ways they have learned to overcome.
Our vision is to empower and encourage. It is simple yet so profound. We want to put the power in their hands and the courage in their hearts! Envision with us helping people in ways that do not steal dignity, kill individuality, or destroy families. Help us to bless this nation in wholesome ways such as education, sharing of resources, building economic opportunities, and most importantly sharing Jesus in a relational way.
We invite you to inspire Haiti, to dream BIG with her. We invite you to partner with our impact and learn more about the beauty this land and her people have to offer. Ayiti Cheri, has so much to offer you should you open your heart and give her a chance. There is much to be learned, gleaned from, and changed in us if we allow God to use these opportunities.
