Jesus Paid it All...

Good Friday was one for the books this year! (I'll share more about it in another post, but it got me thinking in THANKFULNESS and I just have to share!)

I do not know what you have been dealing with or how this worldwide pandemic is affecting you, however, I promise to bring Good News to your circumstance in this blog!

"Jesus Paid it ALL... ALL to Him I owe," 

We owe Him our ALL. 

That statement just does not sit in my heart without kicking me in the ribs. 

What does our "ALL" look like...

For me, it has been those things which I have been clinging to, oh so tightly. It has been my husband, my food, my American passport, my to-do list, my identity, my worth, my abilities, my social medias... literally ALL the things.

Have you been finding yourself struggling with those in this time too? (Like, even more than normal?)

I know, I said I was bringing Good News to your circumstance, well hang on because I am getting there!

We owe our all to Jesus but the beauty of it is that God knows that we will fall short of this. And yet, He has made a way...

Jesus paid it all to present YOU as a spotless, blemish-free bride to God. We owe Him but He has already paid the price.

^^ That is the Beauty of the Good News. We cannot change, lessen, cheapen, or sabotage what Jesus has done for us. It is a finished work that we get to humbly live from.

I am so thankful that I add nothing to this work, but rather, that God saw my face and deemed me worthy before I ever entered this earth. I am even more thankful that nothing can separate me from His love.

So there is your Good News, plain and simple- God saw you and deemed you worthy to have His Son Jesus die on a cross for you to offer in return the chance for you to spend eternal life with Him.

Have you traded Him for that chance yet?

Your sins for His forgiveness?

Your burdens for His freedom?

Your sorrow for His joy?

Your ashes for His beauty?

Your life for His eternity?

I cannot urge you enough to make this choice. To follow Him all the days of your life. If you have not accepted Jesus as your Savior, here is a simple prayer for you to say:

"Jesus- I accept you into my heart and I give you my life. I ask forgiveness of my sins and in return I accept eternity with you. Thank you for being crucified on the cross so I could live. Thank you God that I never have to live another day being separated from your Love." AMEN.
